KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Western Michigan pulled away from Bowling Green in the third period last night to win 4-2.
The Broncos took the lead for good on a goal by Trevor Cooke at the 10:12 mark and added a clincher by Paul Davies at 18:47.
Tyler Knight scored for BG in the first period, while Brett Pilkington found the net in the secon.
The Falcons fell to 7-20-3 overall and 4-17-3 in the CCHA. Western Michigan improved to 14-16-2 and 12-11-1.
The Falcons' Jordan Sigalet had 19 saves to 32 for WMU's Scott Foster.
