NHL's Blake, Emerson to appear at BG game

BOWLING GREEN - Two of the premier hockey players in the history of Bowling Green State University will appear at the Falcons' home game against Notre Dame on Friday, Jan. 28.

Defenseman Rob Blake, a seven-time NHL all-star who won the Norris Trophy as the NHL's best defenseman in 1998, and forward Nelson Emerson, a 12-year NHL player who is BG's all-time leading scorer, will be at the game, which starts at

7:05 p.m. Both Blake and Emerson will sign autographs at the south end of the ice arena from 6-6:45 that night.

The Falcons also will give out Rob Blake bobblehead dolls to the first 700 fans at that contest.

Reserved seats for the contest cost $11, while general admission tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for high school age and under. Tickets can be purchased at the BGSU ticket office at Anderson Arena, by phone at 419-372-0000, or at the school's athletics Web site, www.bgsufalcons.com.
