Falcons women get win in Nashville

11/16/2007

NASHVILLE - Freshman guard Lauren Prochaska scored a game-high 20 points as Bowling Green beat host Lipscomb 54-42 last night at Allen Arena.

Prochaska set new career point totals in consecutive games.

The 54 total points are the fewest points scored in a nonconference win under coach Curt Miller and also the fewest points scored in any win since 2001. BGSU finished three games under Miller with 57 points in MAC play in 2002 (at Ohio), 2004 (at Toledo), and 2007 (at Central Michigan).

The last time the Falcons held an opponent under 50 points was at Buffalo when BGSU held the Bulls to 44 points on their home court on Feb. 17, 2007.
