ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - Unlike eight days earlier, Bowling Green State University was unable to remove an opponent from the unbeaten ranks, falling 70-54 yesterday in a women's basketball game at St. Bonaventure.

The Falcons, who upset then No. 16 Vanderbilt on Dec. 4, saw their five game win streak snapped. They never led against the Bonnies and trailed by double digits for the final 13 minutes of the game.

Lauren Prochaska scored 21 points but BG's next best scorer - Tara Breske - had just six. SBU (10-0) was led by Dana Mitchell, who scored a team-high 19 points and grabbed six rebounds. Chelsea Bowker added 14 points for the 10-0 Bonnies.

Both teams made 13 of 24 field goal attempts (54 percent) in the first half, but SBU led 39-34 at the break.

A Prochaska 3-pointer cut the lead to 43-40 with 18:20 left but BG (6-3) did not score over the next 7:21 while SBU extended its advantage to 55-40.
