Cohen joins BGSU football team
3/2/2012BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University football team has added Jared Cohen, a wide receiver from Golden West Junior College in Huntington Beach, Calif.
Cohen is a 6-2, 205-pounder who last season led the Rustlers with 47 catches for 625 yards and 12 touchdowns in 11 games. Cohen was named All-Southern California Football Association second team.
In high school Cohen was a three-year starter at Cypress High School in Cypress, Calif. As a junior he caught 30 passes for 506 yards and four touchdowns, and he added 37 receptions for 715 yards and 10 TDs as a senior.
Cohen becomes the 21st players in BGSU’s 2012 recruiting class.
