Justinger commits to BG basketball

Northview's Miriam Justinger, the Blade's player of the year in women's basketball, has verbally committed to play at Bowling Green starting next season.

Justinger, who averaged 19.6 points per game in leading the Wildcats to a 21-2 overall record and a Northern Lakes League title with a 14-0. She added 4.9 rebounds and dished out 3.9 assists a game. She finished with 1,109 career points.

Justinger originally committed to Kent State, but she asked for her release when the Golden Flashes did not rehire coach Bob Lindsay.

BG coach Jennifer Roos cannot comment on Justinger until the 6-0 guard-forward officially signs a letter of intent.
