BLACKSBURG, Va. -- The Bowling Green State University football team fell to 1-3 on the season with a 37-0 loss to Virginia Tech (3-1) today.

The Falcons managed just 177 yards of total offense in the first three quarters and 266 in the game. The closest they came to scoring was when Stephen Stein bounced a 43-yard field-goal attempt off the right crossbar in the first quarter.

Virginia Tech quarterback Logan Thomas threw for two touchdowns and run for a third in the contest.
