No. 24 San Jose State rallies to beat Bowling Green, 29-20, in Military Bowl

WASHINGTON -- The Bowling Green State University football team lost to San Jose State 29-20 in the 2012 Military Bowl.

Bowling Green finishes with an 8-5 record, while San Jose State finishes 11-2.

In the fourth quarter the Falcons, who were trailing 19-13, capped an eight-play, 68-yard drive with a 1-yard TD run by John Pettigrew to lead 20-19 with 10:26 left.

But the Spartans drove 68 yards on 13 plays to set up a 27-yard field goal by Austin Lopez to lead 22-20 with 4:43 left.

On BG's next possession quarterback Matt Schilz was sacked and fumbled, and SJSU recovered to set up a 1-yard TD run by De'Leon Eskridge with 2:34 left.
