BOWLING GREEN -- Bowling Green State University women's basketball player Alexis Rogers was named Mid-American Conference East Division player of the week, the league announced today.

Rogers posted a double-double for the second-straight game, leading the Falcons to a 65-40 win over Dayton Sunday. Dayton entered the contest with a 12-0 record and was ranked No. 15 in the country.

The junior had game-high totals of 20 points, 10 rebounds and six steals against the Flyers, including 16 of BG's 28 points in the first half. She also made 11-of-13 free throws and played a role in the Falcon defense that held Dayton to just four second-half field goals and 40 points, which is more than 42 points under its season's average.

Bowling Green has won six consecutive games, and the Falcons are now 9-3 on the season.
