EAST LANSING, Mich. — Bowling Green suffered a 3-1 loss to Michigan State Saturday night in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association game.
The Falcons saw a three-game winning streak come to an end as MSU goalie Jake Hildebrand finished with 27 saves.
The lone goal of the game for Bowling Green (11-14-5, 8-11-3-1 CCHA) was scored by Bryce Williamson, his ninth of the season, at the 14:11 mark of the second period.
The Spartans (8-19-3, 6-15-1-0) got two goals from Greg Wolfe, one coming on the power play in the first period and the other an empty-netter with 32 seconds left in the contest.
Tanner Sorenson had the other goal for Michigan State.
Bowling Green goaltender Tommy Burke finished with 15 saves.
