CLEVELAND -- The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team claimed a 55-53 win over Western Michigan in a Mid-American Conference tournament second-round game at Quicken Loans Arena today.
The fifth-seeded Falcons advance to the third round, where they will face fourth-seed Central Michigan in a noon start Thursday.
Jillian Stein and Alexis Rogers each scored 11 points to lead BG, which improved to 22-9.
Aurielle Anderson, Marquisha Harris and Miracle Woods each scored 12 points to lead the Broncos (11-20).
