2 BGSU hockey players named All-CCHA

BOWLING GREEN — Two Bowling Green players were named to the All-Central Collegiate Hockey Association team.

Senior defenseman Bobby Shea and sophomore forward Ryan Carpenter both were voted to the second team, the Falcons’ first all-conference players since Derek Whitmore was named to the second team in 2007-08. Dan Sexton was an honorable mention choice the following season.

Carpenter led BG with 12 goals and 21 points in CCHA games, while Shea led all league defensemen with 15 assists and a plus-14 rating.
