BGSU women's basketball falls to Central Michigan, 82-79

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. -- The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team suffered an 82-79 loss to Central Michigan at McGuirk Arena today.

Alexis Rogers finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Falcons (14-3, 4-1 Mid-American Conference). Jillian Halfhill scored 18 points before fouling out, while Erica Donovan had 16.

Jessica Green scored 23 points to lead five players in double figures for the Chippewas (9-8, 5-0 MAC). Da'Jourie Turner finished with 14, Crystal Bradford 13, Taylor Johnson 12 and Niki DiGuilio 11 for CMU.

Bradford nearly posted a quadruple-double, adding 15 rebounds, eight steals and seven blocks along with five assists.

 

HALFTIME

The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team leads Central Michigan 32-24 at halftime at McGuirk Arena.

Erica Donovan has 10 points to lead the Falcons, while Deborah Hoekstra and Alexis Rogers each have six.

Jessica Green scored nine points to lead the Chippewas.
