Falcons improve to 11-1 in MAC with win over EMU in Ypsilanti

YPSILANTI, Mich. -- The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team defeated Eastern Michigan 61-56 as the Convocation Center today.

Jillian Halfhill scored 21 points to lead the Falcons, who improved to 21-3 and 11-1 in the Mid-American Conference, while Alexis Rogers scored 13.

Northview High School grad Olivia Fouty scored 15 to lead EMU (14-9, 4-8), while Rogers High School product Cha Sweeney and Desyree Thomas each added 10.

HALFTIME

The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team leads Eastern Michigan 34-29 at halftime at the Convocation Center today.

Jillian Halfhill scored 11 points to lead the Falcons, who also got eight points from Alexis Rogers.

Desyree Thomas scored seven points to lead Eastern Michigan, while Rogers High School grad Cha Sweeney had six points for the Eagles.
