BGSU women defeat Michigan 63-53 advance to WNIT fourth round

BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team defeated Michigan 63-53 in a third-round Women's National Invitation Tournament game at the Stroh Center tonight.

The Falcons will host the winner of the Seton Hall-Rutgers contest in a fourth-round WNIT game Monday at 7 p.m.

Alexis Rogers scored 20 points to lead four players in double figures for the Falcons (30-4). Jillian Halfhill finished with 18 points, Jasmine Matthews 11 and Jill Stein 10 for BG.

Nicole Elmblad scored 15 points to lead Michigan (20-14), while Cyesha Goree had 12.
