BOWLING GREEN — Four more former Bowling Green State University football players have struck deals with NFL teams.

Defensive tackle Jairus Campbell signed a free-agent contract with Baltimore, while fellow defensive tackle Ted Ouellet was invited to camp with Green Bay. And the Falcons starting cornerbacks last season also signed free agent deals as Cam Truss will be in Pittsburgh’s camp and Aaron Foster will join the Cowboys.

Mid-American Conference coaches voted Ouellet to the all-league team for a second straight season after he finished with 32 tackles, including 6½ sacks, last season. Last year Campbell bounced back from an injury that cost him most of the 2012 season to make 33 tackles.

Truss was named All-MAC third team as a junior. Last season he made 56 tackles and also had an interception as well as six passes broken up. Foster switched from safety to cornerback last season and prospered, finishing with 51 tackles, one interception, and nine passes broken up.

Those four players join two BG tight ends, Alex Bayer and Tyler Beck, to give the school six members of its Mid-American Conference championship squad added to NFL rosters.

Bayer will be in camp with St. Louis, while Beck is expected to sign with New England today.

Last season Bayer was an All-MAC choice who caught 37 passes for 593 yards and four touchdowns, while Beck had 10 receptions for 177 yards and two scores.

Jerry "BooBoo" Gates, a two-time All-MAC safety who was arrested last weekend on drug trafficking charges, apparently has not signed with an NFL team.

Another former BG standout, wide receiver Kamar Jorden, will be in Minnesota’s camp.
