Wedding bells rang in T-town over the holidays.

Former Toledoans fell in love outside their hometown but came home for their wedding and the holidays. Ed Reams and Sally Dennis-Bridge tied the knot Nov. 28 in the Perrysburg home of his parents, Susan and Frazier Reams, Jr. Mr. Reams, an attorney, received a special appointment as judge so that he could officiate at his son's wedding.

The bride, a nationally known fashion designer turned furniture designer, wore her own creation, a bone-white shirtwaist dress of organza silk with pewter damask designs, accented with lilac satin Prada shoes and a pewter handmade belt of ribbons, leaves, and feathers. Of course, the real accent was the bridegroom in a black cashmere suit and lilac tie. The Toledo connection is that she attended Springfield High School and he attended Ottawa Hills High School, although they didn't know each other back then. The newlyweds have returned to their Newport, R.I., home.

The bride is the daughter of Cory and Karen Eckel of Perrysburg, and the bridegroom is the son of Doug and Jayme Rasmussen of Villa Park. After a Palm Springs, Calif., honeymoon, the newlyweds returned to their Orem, Utah, home, where they both attend Brigham Young University.
