More than 500 volunteers in northwest Ohio will sell papers for donations, according to John Mattimoe, paper drive chairman.

The organization's annual awards and scholarship banquet was Monday at the Premiere with Mr. Hendricks, Ron Shnider, scholarship chairman, Buckeye CableSystem director, local stations Veronica Pinciotti, and Tom Cole, BCSN sports director.
High School Football Player of the Year nominees were Nick Holley of Whitmer (winner), Amir Edwards, Central Catholic, and Merk Delas, Perrysburg.
Girls Volleyball Player of the Year nominees were Katie McKernan of St. Ursula (winner), Morgan Fioritto, Notre Dame, and Maddie Burnham, St. Ursula.
Leigh Keogh was the Ray Kest, Sr. Scholarship winner. The Owens Community College student majoring in social work is a graduate of Central Catholic.
Kelsey Growden was the Paul Block, Jr. Scholarship recipient. The Maumee student plans to attend Owens Community College or the University of Toledo, majoring in health information technology.
Jenna Riahl was the William Block, Sr. Scholarship winner. The Toledo Early College High School student plans to attend Bowling Green State University, the University of Chicago, Ohio State University, or UT, majoring in architectural engineering.
Tracy Campbell was the Phil Zimmerman Scholarship recipient. The Woodward student plans to attend Owens Community College or UT, majoring in nursing.
Sana Sharper received the Howard LaFountaine Scholarship. The Bowsher student plans to attend Kent State University or OSU, majoring in accounting.
Brandon Jackson won the James Brennan, Sr. Scholarship. The Rogers student plans to attend the University of North Carolina, OSU, or UT, majoring in accounting.
Dalena Gomez was the Al and Edna Shnider Scholarship winner. The Bowsher student plans to attend BGSU, ITT Technical Institute, Owens Community College, or UT, majoring in business.
