Holiday parties are in full swing in and around Toledo.
The Sew N So sewing club’s annual Christmas Gala “Soulful Santa” was at the Ramada Inn. Members made pillowcase dresses for Little Dresses for Africa. Members also had a display of their sewing projects made throughout the year.

The Christ Child Society annual Christmas party was at The Toledo Country Club. Members donated oodles of children’s books for the group’s Let’s Read program at Rosary Cathedral school.
The 46th annual Do-It Party at the Players Club raised more than $8,000 to brighten the holidays for 18 local families. This year’s hosts were Jeff James, Bob Wasserman, and Ron Buermele. Among the 200 participants were Tedd Long and his daughter and son-in-law Caitlin and Kasey Keener and their son Jackson; Greg Loeb, Ed Biniecki, Norm and Norma Tanber, Nick and Sara Tokles, and Jim Sautter of Sautter’s Markets in Sylvania which helps with the grocery run every year.
