10/31/2004

Steve Lundin, co-author of the FISH! series of business bestsellers, will present a day-long workshop Nov. 9 at SeaGate Convention Centre in downtown Toledo.

The event is being billed as a way for participants to "develop the ideas, the philosophy, and the skills you need to improve the way you work and live."

Spokesman Karl Burger said Lundin has worked with major companies on such goals as creating high-energy, positive workplaces; helping people be more effective personally and professionally; and developing strategies for improved communication and decision-making.

The fourth book in the series is FISH! for Life: A Remarkable Way to Achieve Your Dreams (Hyperion, 2004). Previous titles are FISH!, FISH! Tales, and FISH! Sticks.

The workshop, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., is being sponsored by the University of Toledo Division of Continuing Education, Owens Community College Workforce and Community Services, and Penta Career Center Adult and Continuing Education.

The cost is $299 per person; $279 each for groups of 9 to 16 people, and $259 each for groups of 17 or more. Reservations are required, by telephone at 888-586-2267 or online at www.FISHextravaganza.com.
