TMA offers new guide
2/20/2005The Toledo Museum of Art has published a colorful 64-page guide, highlighting 85 of the most popular items in its collection.
The book is organized according to period (Europe 1800s, Contemporary, Ancient India), and accompanied by lively text by Paula Reich that puts each piece in perspective. Reich is TMA's curatorial projects manager.
The guide, which includes a sturdy map of the facility, was in the works for a year. It can be purchased in the Museum Store for $9.95.
TMA last published a catalog, Toledo Treasures, in 1995.
