Retired police officer to discuss book on PTSD
1/28/2013Author L. Ken Rogers, a retired police officer, will appear at the Bedford Library at 7 p.m. April 9, not the initially announced date, Feb. 27.
His book, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: A Police Officer's Report, tells the story of him shooting a barricaded gunman and the post-traumatic stress disorder he suffered afterward. He wrote the book to help first responders realize they are not alone in feeling isolated and depressed. He will sign books after the presentation.
