Four area players earn All-Ohio football honors

Four players from local high schools earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference football

first-team honors including Mount Union s Jason Lewis, a Northview graduate who was named most outstanding offensive lineman.

Lewis, a senior, helped the Raiders lead the nation in total offense (514.1 yards per game) and the OAC in scoring (49.6 points per game). It was the second straight year Lewis earned the top lineman honor.

Also named to the All-OAC offensive fi rst team were Mount Union sophomore running back Nate Kmic (Delta), Baldwin-Wallace senior running back Brandon Hedges (Clay).

On the defensive first team was Capital junior defensive back James Stark (St. Francis). Mount Union kicker Mike Zimmerman (Archbold) was named to the second team.
