College basketball: First-half rally keys No. 2 Memphis' win over Tulsa
2/28/2008MEMPHIS - Willie Kemp scored 14 points and keyed a first-half Memphis rally, leading the No. 2 Tigers to an 82-67 victory over Tulsa last night in their first game since their only loss.
Kemp was 5-of-10 from the field, including 4-for-7 from 3-point range, as five Tigers scored in double figures. Doneal Mack and Shawn Taggart scored 12 points apiece, while Robert Dozier added 11 points and eight rebounds. Antonio Anderson finished with 10 points.
No. 6 Kansas 75, Iowa State 64
AMES, Iowa - Darrell Arthur had 18 points and 10 rebounds, Mario Chalmers and Brandon Rush each added 15 points for Kansas.
The Jayhawks (25-3, 10-3 Big 12) led by as many as 22 midway through the second half, but had to hold off the Cyclones (14-14, 4-9) down the stretch. Kansas let a 57-35 lead dwindle to 64-55 with 4:04 to go as Iowa State went on a 20-7 run.
No. 7 Duke 71, Georgia Tech 58
DURHAM, N.C. - Gerald Henderson and DeMarcus Nelson each scored 15 points and No. 7 Duke moved into a first-place tie in the Atlantic Coast Conference with North Carolina.
Kyle Singler added 13 points and Greg Paulus had 11 to help the Blue Devils (24-3, 11-2) improve to 15-0 at Cameron Indoor Stadium this season and win their second straight since a two-game losing streak on the road.

WASHINGTON DaJuan Summers made five 3-pointers and scored 21 points to lead No. 11 Georgetown to a win over St. John's.
No. 16 Purdue 65, Minnesota 53
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - E'Twaun Moore scored 22 points and No. 16 Purdue (22-6, 13-2 Big Ten) grabbed a tie for the Big Ten lead. Robbie Hummel had 12 points and eight rebounds.
