UT, BG women picked to win respective divisions
10/27/2010The University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University women's basketball teams were both picked to win their respective divisions in the Mid-American Conference preseason rankings released Wednesday.
The Rockets were chosen to repeat as West Division champions, while the Falcons were picked to repeat as East Division and MAC tournament champions.
UT junior point guard Naama Shafir was also honored as one of five players on the West Division preseason team, and senior forward Lauren Prochaska represented BGSU on the East Division preseason team.
