The NCAA on Tuesday released its annual Academic Progress Rate (APR) figures for the four-year period from 2006-07 to 2009-10, and both the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University athletic departments received impressive scores.

All 18 of BGSU’s teams exceeded the APR minimum multi-year score of 925, and 16 sports either retained or improved their APR from a year ago.

Fourteen of 15 UT sports programs finished above the NCAA’s established cut line of 925. Of those 14 sports, 10 improved their APR scores from a year ago.

Toledo and Bowling Green both had seven teams post a perfect single-year score of 1000.

At Michigan, the football team recorded a 928 — the lowest of any team at the university. Men’s basketball scored 970.

At Ohio State, football scored 985, and men’s basketball improved its score from 929 last year to 952.
