Big Ten announces primetime TV schedule

The Big Ten announced its primetime television schedule for the 2012 football season today.

Ohio State will have three primetime games broadcast this fall: 8 p.m. Oct. 6 against Nebraska, either on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2; 8 p.m. Oct. 13 at Indiana, on the Big Ten Network; and 6 p.m. Oct. 27 at Penn State, either on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

Michigan will have three primetime games broadcast this fall: 7:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at Notre Dame on NBC, 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at Purdue on the Big Ten Network and Oct. 27 at Nebraska, either on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

Television assignments for games scheduled for the first three weekends of the 2012 season (Sept. 1, Sept. 8 and Sept. 15) will be released by the Big Ten no later than July 1.
