Only a few spots remain in next month’s Owens Corning Half Marathon, which is one of the races offered in the annual Medical Mutual Glass City Marathon.

Organizers expect the 3,000-participant limit to be reached within the week, marking the sixth straight year that the race has sold out. The event will be held on Sunday, April 27, beginning at 7 a.m. at the University of Toledo. Other events include the full marathon, a five-person relay for the marathon, and a 5K. The full marathon is capped at 2,000 runners but has only reached about 45 percent capacity. For more information and to register, go to glasscitymarathon.org.

A percentage of proceeds will benefit several nonprofit partners, primarily the Great Lakes Collaborative for Autism and Habitat for Humanity.
