2 men face arraignments for robberies

Two men were to be arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court on Thursday after one of them was arrested and accused of robbing a fast food restaurant in North Toledo and a hotel in West Toledo and the other was arrested and accused of robbing a gas station on the city’s east side, police said.

Hasawn Showes, 23, of 116 Everett St., was to be arraigned on two charges of aggravated robbery in the robberies of the restaurant and the hotel, according to Lucas County jail records, where both were being held after being arrested Wednesday. 

Dylan Henry, 25, of 230 13th St., was to be arraigned on one charge of aggravated robbery, according to the records. 

The men were arrested at different times Wednesday afternoon in the 100th block of Everett, police said.

Arby’s at 661 East Manhattan Blvd., and the Red Roof Inn, 3530 Executive Parkway, were robbed Feb. 27 and Sunday respectively. Sunoco, 1540 Front St., was robbed Sunday, officers said.
