BOWLING GREEN — The uncle of radio personality Andrew Zepeda was found guilty Thursday by a jury in Wood County Common Pleas Court of playing a part in a break-in at the former Andrew Z’s Sports Pizzeria at Levis Commons.

Paul Zepeda, 54, of Maumee was convicted of complicity to breaking and entering after a two-day trial. He will be sentenced July 15 by Judge Alan Mayberry.

Zepeda was charged by Perrysburg police with driving Paul Wright to the restaurant and providing him with the combination to the safe. Wright, 44, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering in connection with the burglary last October and was sentenced to three years of community control sanctions, including 100 hours of community service.

In February, Andrew Zepeda pleaded guilty to complicity to breaking and entering, theft, and failure to remit sales tax but was granted intervention in lieu of conviction by Judge Mayberry.
