FINDLAY — Bond was continued Wednesday at $1 million for a Fostoria teenager indicted this week for aggravated murder.

Nicole Peters, 17, was arraigned before Hancock County Common Pleas Judge Reginald Routson on charges of aggravated murder, two counts of kidnapping, and tampering with evidence stemming from the March 26 death of Vera Joe Reigle, 24, of Findlay.

Miss Peters was certified last month to stand trial as an adult. She and Daniel Bixler, 21, of Tiffin are accused in the death of Ms. Reigle, who suffered multiple blunt and sharp trauma wounds before her body was left on railroad tracks in Findlay. Both are in the Hancock County jail.

In addition to Miss Peters, four others — Zachary Brooks, 18, Cheri Brooks, 48, Shannon Brooks, 21, and Michael Brooks, 26, all of Findlay — were indicted by a Hancock County grand jury this week on charges of obstructing justice in the murder probe.
