A Toledo man involved in gunshots fired in February outside a Maumee teen nightspot entered a plea Tuesday to three misdemeanor counts.

Jeshondre Hollins, 19, of 261 South Miller St. pleaded no contest to one count each of inducing panic, aggravated menacing, and discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises. He faces up to 18 months incarceration when sentenced July 19 by Judge James Bates.

Mr. Hollins was one of three people arrested Feb. 13 at the now closed Club Hype, 1703 Tollgate Drive, after police responded to a report of shots fired outside the nightclub at 12:38 a.m.

Authorities said Mr. Hollins was the passenger in a car from which shots were fired. Two handguns were recovered from the vehicle.

A juvenile was convicted of a weapons charge in juvenile court and sentenced to time in the Department of Youth Services. A second man, Dontae Wynn, 19, who was the driver, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge and was sentenced in Maumee Municipal Court to probation.
