A Toledo man who authorities say was one of three who impersonated a police officer was arraigned Thursday.

William Crowell, 21, of 2277 Avondale Ave. appeared in Toledo Municipal Court on charges of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, aggravated burglary with a deadly weapon, and impersonating a peace officer. He was arrested Wednesday.

Authorities say he and two other men barged into a Moran Avenue home early Tuesday and ransacked the house, telling the 24-year-old victim they were executing a search warrant and leaving with her car and other items. The car was recovered nearby.
