An Indianapolis man who fatally shot a former Fostoria woman and her fiance’s mother has been sentenced to 110 years in prison.

Elwin Hart, 64, was convicted last month in Marion Superior Court of two counts of murder and one count each of unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana stemming from the Feb. 20, 2010, deaths of Elizabeth Newcomer, 24, and Linda Nickle, 61.

Both women were found shot to death in the Indianapolis home they shared. Ms. Newcomer, a 2004 Fostoria High School graduate, was engaged to Ms. Nickle’s son. Hart had been Ms. Nickle’s boyfriend.
