Perrysburg man indicted in Catawba Island Twp. crash

PORT CLINTON -- A Perrysburg man who authorities allege was intoxicated when he crashed his car, injuring four Toledo residents, was indicted this week by an Ottawa County grand jury.

George H. Boyer, 38, was indicted on four counts of aggravated vehicular assault. He is to make an initial appearance July 25 in Ottawa County Common Pleas Court. According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, he was northbound on State Rt. 53 in Catawba Island Twp. before midnight June 9 when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing his vehicle to go off the road and hit a utility pole. Injured were passengers, Tiffany Sharp, 28; Tony Ray, 32; Nichole Mulholland, 35, and Adam Keller, 28.
