A Toledo man involved in gunshots fired earlier this year outside a Maumee teen nightspot will serve two years probation.

Jeshondre Hollins, 19, of 261 South Miller St. was sentenced in Lucas County Common Pleas Court Tuesday to community control, including random drug and alcohol testing and 75 hours of community service. Judge James Bates ordered a total of six months incarceration time be suspended in lieu of probation.

Mr. Hollins pleaded no contest in May to one count each of inducing panic, aggravated menacing, and discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises. He was one of three arrested Feb. 13 at the now-closed Club Hype, 1703 Tollgate Drive, after police responded to shots fired outside the nightclub at 12:38 a.m.
