Toledo man indicted in July 6 shooting death
7/22/2011A Toledo man who surrendered to police was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury Thursday on one count of murder that carries a possible life sentence.
Byron Mitchell, 20, is charged in the July 6 shooting death of Eric Daniels, 40, of Toledo. Mr. Daniels was shot in the back at an impromptu car show at Monroe Street and North Detroit Avenue July 3. He died two days later.
Mr. Mitchell turned himself in on July 11 after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
