2 juveniles face adult charges in burglary

Three men accused of forcing their way into an elderly couple's home and robbing them at gunpoint will be arraigned today in Lucas County Common Pleas Court; two other juvenile suspects will face charges as adults.

Dwayne Simmons, 19, of 3017 Elm St., Alexander Dawson, 20, of 3151 Franklin St., and Bobby Henry, Jr., 18, of 3726 East Manhattan Blvd. are charged with one count each of aggravated burglary and two counts each of aggravated robbery and kidnapping.

Juvenile Judge Connie Zemmelman certified Brian Nepp and Michael King, both 17, to stand trial as adults. They were ordered held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $75,000 bonds. The men allegedly robbed the MacGregor Lane home of Robert Boyd, 73, and his 70-year-old wife last month.
