Toledo man indicted in stabbing of his wife
10/8/2011A Toledo man accused of stabbing his wife and evading police for two days was indicted Friday by a Lucas County grand jury.
Walter L. Benton, Jr., 29, of 1057 Orchard St., was charged with 14 counts of felonious assault and one count of attempt to commit murder. According to court records, Benton is accused of stabbing his wife, Jessica, 22, in the face and body Sept. 29 at an apartment in Vistula Manor.
