Toledoan guilty of theft of $200,000 from work

BOWLING GREEN — A Toledo woman accused of stealing more than $200,000 from her former employer, Kingston Residence in Perrysburg, was convicted Monday in Wood County Common Pleas Court.

Marilyn Mikolajczyk, 39, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft and two counts of forgery, third-degree felonies, stemming from the alleged embezzlement from Kingston dating to 2004. She faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.

Common Pleas Judge Reeve Kelsey scheduled sentencing for Dec. 5.
