Two men charged in separate murders were arraigned Thursday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Livorio Sandoval, 27, of 1355 Ayers Rd., Milbury, Ohio, charged with killing Alvaro Vallejo Jr., 35, appeared before Judge Francis X. Gorman.

Bond was set at $1 million and the case was continued until Friday at 9 a.m. to allow Sandoval time to hire an attorney.

Vallejo died Oct. 26 when he was shot inside a car at Broadway and Prouty.

Sandoval was arrested last month in Dallas County, Texas, where he remained until he was extradited to Ohio. He was booked into the Lucas County jail Wednesday, where he is currently being held.

Kevin Lamont Arnold, 22, of 55 Poplar St., was arraigned on charges of murder and aggravated robbery in the death of an East Toledo man on Nov. 10.

Arnold’s bond was set at $1 million.

Arnold is one of six men charged in the death of Raynail Gaiter, 31, who was shot to death in an East Toledo apartment at 121 Ravine Park Village.

Arnold was also charged with domestic violence and assault in a September incident. Bond for the domestic violence charge was set at $5,000. The assault charge was continued to Dec. 8 at 9 a.m.
