Six men were indicted Friday by a Lucas County grand jury on multiple charges, including murder and robbery, for two separate shooting deaths this year.

Reynard Lewis, 20, and Darrick Newsome, 18, were each charged with two counts each of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, and felonious assault, all with gun specifications.

Also charged were Kurt Finley, 19, with two counts each of murder and aggravated robbery; and Kevin Arnold, 22, and Samojay Edwards, 19, who were each charged with one count each of murder and aggravated robbery. The final man charged, Quandre Willingham, 22, faces one count each of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, and felonious assault. All the charges include gun specifications.

Each man faces life in prison if convicted. They are each in custody at the Lucas County jail in lieu of $1 million bonds.

The men face charges in two deaths; police say both deaths appear to be drug-related and robbery is the motive in both.

On Nov. 7, Darnell Townsend-Tall, 37, was shot and killed inside his North Toledo home at 339 E. Weber St. Three days later, Raynail Gaiter, 31, was gunned down in his East Toledo apartment at 121 Ravine Park Village.

All six men are charged in Gaiter's death; Mr. Lewis, Mr. Newsome, and Mr. Finley are additionally charged in the slaying of Townsend-Tall.
