A Sylvania attorney was placed on probation for one year by the Supreme Court of Ohio after it was determined he violated rules of professional conduct while representing five separate clients in various legal matters.

David Martin, who was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1988, was suspended from practicing for one year but the suspension was stayed and probation and monitoring were instated.

The sanction was the result of five grievances filed against Mr. Martin with the Toledo Bar Association.
