A Fulton County woman accused of causing a Jan. 1 crash in which a Swanton man died was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury Wednesday.
Candy Gillen, 41, of 10722 County Road 8, Pike Township was charged with two alternate counts of aggravated vehicular homicide. In one count, alcohol is a factor. In the second, Ms. Gillen is charged with recklessly causing the death. If convicted, Ms. Gillen faces up to eight years in prison. She is free on a $15,000 surety bond posted in January in Maumee Municipal Court.
Jeffery Brown, 49, was pronounced dead at the crash scene on Jeffers Road at Neapolis Waterville Road near Whitehouse.
