Toledoan indicted in February shooting

A Toledo man was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury Monday on several assault charges for a Feb. 19 shooting incident in Springfield Township.

Calvin Gholikely, 19, of 3937 Airport Hwy. was charged with three counts of felonious assault with a gun specification and one count of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation, also with a gun specification. If convicted, he faces up to 35 years in prison.

Mr. Gholikely is accused of shooting and injuring Monta Wallace, 18, and Jovon Porter, 20, at the Oakwood Gardens apartments, 235 N. McCord Rd. A third man was with them when they were shot but was not injured.

Mr. Gholikely is being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $400,000 bond.
