A 16-year-old Toledoan recently certified to face murder and assault charges as an adult was indicted Tuesday by a Lucas County grand jury.

Davion Wilson of 1260 Buckingham St. was charged with one count each of murder, attempt to commit murder, and felonious assault, each with a gun specification. He faces up to life in prison if convicted.

The youth is charged in the Dec. 30 shooting death of Deadrick Rocker, 17, and the shooting of another teen, age 16, whom authorities have yet to identify. He is in custody at the Lucas County jail in lieu of $275,000 bond set in county juvenile court.

The two victims were shot as they left a party at Hoag and Tecumseh streets, police said.
