A Toledo man is being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond for allegedly shooting his neighbor this weekend.

James Dunn, 40, of 1060 Blum St., was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court Monday morning on one count of felonious assault.

He is scheduled for a pretrial hearing on March 26.

Police say Brandon Braggs, 31, who lives in the same block as the suspect, was shot multiple times outside Dunn’s home, near Forest Avenue, at about 12:40 a.m. Saturday. After being shot, Braggs walked about a block to a carry out store at Nebraska Avenue and North Hawley Street to seek help. Police found him lying in the parking lot.

He was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center; a spokesperson there had no information about a person by that name.
