A Toledo man entered a plea Monday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court to a felonious assault charge for aiding in the shooting of two men.

Calvin Gholikely, 20, of 3937 Airport Hwy. pleaded no contest and was found guilty of felonious assault. He and co-defendant Dequan Tatum, 17, were charged with a Feb. 19 shooting incident in Springfield Township.

Assistant County Prosecutor Bruce Sorg said Gholikely was with the Tatum youth when the pair encountered three men at an apartment in Oakwood Gardens, 235 N. McCord Rd., and that Gholikely pointed out the location of the men.

Monta Wallace, 18, and Jovon Porter, 20, were wounded during the shooting. The third man was not injured.

Judge James Jensen set a May 16 sentencing date. The Tatum youth is charged in juvenile court with three counts of felonious assault with a gun specification and shooting into a habitation.
