A Toledo man who entered medical buildings and nursing homes to steal items has pleaded no contest in Lucas County Common Pleas Court to two counts of trespassing in a habitation.

The charges against Moses White, Jr., 37, of 899 Toronto Ave., were amended from burglary as part of the plea bargain. A third count of burglary will be dismissed at his June 19 sentencing.

White is accused of a March 17 incident at Foundation Park Care Center, 1621 N. Byrne Rd., and a March 19 incident in a ProMedica laboratory at 3156 W. Central Ave. and the adjoining Toledo Wound Care, 3110 W. Central. A review of video surveillance recordings led to White's arrest, authorities said. He faces up to three years in prison when sentenced by Judge James Bates.
