  • A jury in Lucas County Common Pleas Court today found a 51-year-old man guilty on all counts stemming from a rape of a 14-year-old developmentally delayed girl.

Ricky Jamison was convicted on three counts of rape and one count of kidnapping. He was on trial this week for taking the girl from the front of her home and raping her in his home.

He faces up to 40 years in prison when sentenced by Judge Gene Zmuda on Aug. 24.

The alleged victim, now 16, testified on Wednesday that she was “grabbed by the neck,” forced into a car, and taken to an apartment where she was “hurt” by the stranger.

Her mother had previously testified that although a teenager, the victim has the learning capacity of someone half her age. The Blade does not identify victims of sexual assault.
